HOMELESS MINISTRY

Whatever you did for the least of these my brothers and sisters you did for me. Matt 25:40

Homeless Feeding: HHBC provides a weekly meal and time of fellowship for the homeless of our community on Sundays from 3:00pm to 4:00pm @ Morrell Park (500 Harris Street, Henderson) Come out to help serve the meal and engage in conversation, thereby showing the love of Christ.

Clothing Donations Accepted: 1) Gently used clothing, particularly winter wear. 2) Blankets. Drop in the bin in the back of the Worship Center.

GOOD NEWS CLUBS 

Good News Club is a gospel centered outreach ministry which is held in local elementary schools. HHBC leads a GNC at Robert Taylor Elementary near downtown Henderson. In GNC children hear Bible Stories, learn Bible verses, play games, sing songs and receive lots of love. We are excited to be involved in impacting the unchurched in our community with the gospel!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

HHBC serves as one of Southern Nevada's drop off centers for Operation Christmas Child. Our church proudly supports reaching children with the gospel through this shoebox ministry of Samaritan's Purse. 



BLOOD DRIVES

HHBC hosts blood drives in conjunction with the Vitalant. The Bloodmobile comes to the church site twice yearly. Our next blood drive will be in May of 2024.


OTHER MINISTRIES include short term regional mission trips to Utah and Arizona; they are generally construction projects.


MINISTRY PARTNERS

Southern Baptist Convention: Through HHBC's affiliation with the Southern Baptist Convention, HHBC has partnered with International Mission Board Missionaries, and has adopted the Foodo People Group in Benin. In addition, our partnership with the SBC has enabled HHBC to sponsor three current seminary students in pursuit of their theological education.

Nevada Baptist Convention: The Nevada Baptist Convention enables HHBC cooperation with other congregations to help reach the Silver State with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Southern Nevada Baptist Association: HHBC is a proud member of the SNBA. Through the Association. HHBC has participated in local initiatives and training. These include the annual Youth Evangelism Conference and VBS training clinics.
